Green Power at Climate Signs 2More and more municipalities are opting for sustainable traffic signs.

Because Climate Signs embraces social issues by innovating and cooperating as much as possible with raw material recycling and production chain partners, more and more municipalities are choosing our sustainable honeycomb traffic signs.
Road authorities in the Netherlands must start making sustainable choices in the coming years.
Because the production chains at Climate Signs are short and recycled raw materials from the Netherlands are used, we can scale up regionally and quickly.
We are not dependent on imports or other logistical challenges because the PCR-Sign traffic sign is produced 100% CO2 neutral in the Netherlands.
Because we own the production moulds, we retain control and can close the cycles optimally.

Because Climate Signs produces truly circular and C02 emission reducing traffic signs, the Municipality of Gooise Meren has chosen our highly innovative honeycomb traffic signs. Reuse of raw materials from public space is and remains a challenge. This is why we produce traffic signs from a recycled monostream. By producing from one type of material, subsequent recycling is easy.

Because a PCR-Sign traffic sign emits 19 kg less CO2 than a regular aluminum traffic sign, the choice for the Municipality of Gooise Meren was quickly made. Through a simple material choice (from aluminum to recycled plastic) we can save a significant amount of CO2 emissions on an annual basis.

Climate Signs’ traffic signs are the best alternative to aluminum.

Our road signs are:

  • Produced from a 100% recycled raw material;
  • circular and 100% reusable monostream within the same or new production chains;
  • CE certified;
  • Climate neutral production and distribution;
  • technical life comparable to aluminum;
  • lightweight;
  • Functionally flexible, energy absorbing and strong;
  • multifunctional platform to promote biodiversity (insect hotel);
  • GPW and MKI minimum (category 1 study NMD registration);
  • strong, circular, C02 neutral with a very robust appearance
