I am made in the Netherlands from a high-quality polymer blend ABS
(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) + PC (Polycarbonate) regenerate.

What is ABS/PC regenerate?

ABS/PC regenerate refers to an ABS/PC plastics blend (composition), which is made from 100% recycled material (called recyclate). The raw material is processed into an injection moldable new regenerate pellet within the recycling process.

How is ABS/PC recycled?

When a plastic recycling plant receives plastic, all units of plastic are shredded. Then all other contaminants such as metals and unwanted plastics are filtered out by a water system at different speeds. Finally, a pure raw material stream of ABS/PC plastic remains.

How and where is ABS/PC used?

Because ABS/PC is a highly resilient and impact-resistant plastic, it is used for:

  • Keyboard of computers;
  • Housing computers;
  • Instrument panels;
  • Housing of power tools;
  • TV frames;
  • Computer components;
  • Auto parts;
  • Luggage cases;
  • Aircraft applications;
  • Mobile devices;
  • Chairs, tables, containers, etc.

What are the properties of ABS/PC?

ABS/PC has high impact resistance even at low temperatures;
ABS/PC has high stiffness, is functionally flexible and can absorb impact energy;
ABS/PC deformation under mechanical stress negligible;
ABS has a very high impact resistance down to -30 degrees;
ABS/PC is heat resistant;
ABS/PC is scratch resistant;
High IP rating;
Deployable in a wide temperature range;
ABS/PC is flame retardant and self-extinguishing;
Good chemical resistance;
Low weight;
High structural strength, making the signs amply compliant with the NEN-3318 and EN-12899-1:2007 standard;
Good UV resistance.

Is ABS/PC a toxic material?

No, ABS/PC is not a toxic material. It is used in children’s toys, car parts and household appliances and contains no harmful substances.

Certification raw material:

To reduce the high demand for new raw materials, it is very important to strengthen the circular economy on an ongoing basis. Here, energy waste in production is as important as reducing waste at the source.

Because Climate Signs processes 100% circular raw materials in acarbon-neutral production process, the Netherlands Circular 2050 goals have already been achieved with us.

To ensure the quality and circularity of the products supplied, all raw materials are purchased and processed under a recycling certificate. The quality and origin is therefore always traceable.

The certification gives customers confidence that the recyclate material has been recycled in the best possible way, with respect for the environment and in compliance with national regulations. The certification also demonstrates that the output produced complies with relevant environmental legal regulations.
