Since today, the first sustainable traffic sign has been in place in Krimpen. Alderman John Janson of Traffic and Transport and Wubbo Tempel of Sustainability unveiled it. With traffic signs made of recycled plastic, we are making Krimpen’s outdoor space one step more sustainable.

The municipality of Zaanstad was the initiator of the regional traffic signs tender from the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region. The core of this tender was that only sustainable traffic signs were to be supplied and placed.
